SORL1 and Alzheimer's Disease

Who is Luke Lopas?


Luke is a 22 year old senior at UW-Madison majoring in Genetics.  His career goals include becoming a physician.  In his spare time he enjoys working out, reading, and hanging out with his friends.  Recently he has began training for triathlons with the intention of doing a half-ironman this summer.

Luke chose Alzheimer's Disease and the SORL1 gene because his family has a history of Alzheimer's and he is a staunch believer that knowledge is power...and as he reads this he realizes how awkward it is to talk in the third person.
